Within recent years a number of people have written to me with questions about their counseling cases, requests for references or other information to be used in term papers, help in dealing with their personal issues, or questionnaires that they would like me to complete as a part of class assignments or research projects. I read all of these messages and am honored that my opinion is valued. I respond to as many of these as I can. But I've discovered that if I try to answer them all I am under pressure most of the time and simply unable to keep up. I very much want to be helpful and I feel badly when I must say no, but please understand that it is not possible to meet all of the requests that come my way.
